About MEI began life as a very small child and am now something of a very big one.
I spent my time in school drawing cartoons, making animations, and coercing family members to star in my short films. At university I learnt how to turn this into a career (the creative things—not the coercion).
As a commercial creative I’ve had the pleasure of writing and art directing campaigns for brands like Optus, F45, Mentos, Qantas, Fairfax, and more. My work has resulted in an Olympic swimmer launching a very philosophical pool cleaning business, a cow tinkling the ivories with udder dexterity, and a Home & Away star launching a fragrance (Raygrance) that nobody asked for, but everybody wanted. These (as well as many other more serious and realistic sounding projects) have resulted in me being fortunate enough to be shortlisted for B&T’s 30under30.
Outside of my regular work I put pen to paper, and try to turn them into pages. I’ve illustrated two books with Dream Big Brave One; Our Village (2022), and Birthday Eve (2023).
